Excellent work! You have every single assignment requirement anbd they are very well used. Furthermore, your text and graphics interact nicely with one another: after reading your text, the pale "light" on the right side seems like "the clouds"! Excellent effect. This is what I expected to see: some sort of spontaneous play or relation between the text and the graphics. All elements were placed in different and "named" layers too. A perfect job! You don't need to "group" similar elements together so much in Fireworks. I understand that it is indeed easier when you want to make duplicates of group but there was no need to group your textured lines or your big squares: you can always place each in their own separate and named layers.

p.s. As I wrote in the "Grading Procedures" in the "Read me first" folder: assignments are considered "noteworthy" when they stand-out in creativity, artistic quality or mere ingeniosity but all the essential elements of the assignment must also be there, as asked and done right!
